Springsteen to release box set of CDs and DVDs of Darkness era material, including a whole live show from Houston in December of 1978.  This will include titanic versions of “Prove It All Night,” “Because the Night,” and “Backstreets,” as well as the sparingly performed favorite, “The Fever.”  See link for more.

May To See Release of Darkness Box Set?

Rumors abound that the long awaited release of a remastered Darkness on the Edge of Town with documentary and complete live DVD will be available in May. One source suggested a complete show will be augmented with selected songs from other sources and put into the accompanying documentary on the making of the album.
